99 - 24:
Choosing a Chiropractic Lifestyle
Change is one thing we can always count on. We had a lovely stretch of warm September days, but with a new season, change is in the air. We see it in the darker mornings, feel it in the crisp air (hello, ‘sweata weatha’), and enjoy the warm afternoon light as the leaves start to turn. It's time for mums, apples, corn mazes, and homecomings. Welcome, Autumn!
Change also brings new patients, families, and babies born in the office. On the flip side, some of our chiro kiddos are now off to college. There are job changes, relocations, and sometimes fond farewells as long-time members move on to new chapters.
Take a patient, let's call him Nate. He came to us for care, received his exam and x-rays, and we set him up with a plan for subluxation correction. We talked about how incredible the body is at healing itself, and how regular spinal check-ups can help him live life with fuller expression.
Fast forward: Nate is noticing positive changes and soon refers his wife Susan, who is expecting twins! Expectant moms benefit from chiropractic care with more comfortable pregnancies and better birth outcomes. Now, we have a family of four under care.
Years pass. The twins grow up, start school, and life gets busier, but the family keeps chiropractic care a priority. More years go by, and soon it’s time for graduations, vacations, retirement, and a move to a new state. Throughout, chiropractic has been part of their journey. As they head off, we shared special moments, hugs, and their final adjustments before helping them find a new chiropractor.
Did you know? Our charts show the year patients first started care and their current year. Nate's chart numbers? 99 and 24. That's 25 years of care! It's amazing to think about the thousands of adjustments delivered over the years and the impact on families like his.
What keeps families coming back even after they’re feeling well? They get The Big Idea: life is a beautiful, intelligent process that depends on a clear nerve system to function, adapt, and self-heal. A chiropractic lifestyle is key to staying vibrant and resilient through life’s ups and downs, celebrations and more.
It’s humbling to care for families like Nate's for 10, 20, 25 years and beyond. Change is inevitable, but being well-adjusted helps us adapt with more ease.
Celebrating all my lifestyle chiro folks and our long-time practice members!
